Booking Terms

These terms apply to bookings for parking at the TruckStop24 facility at R. São Lourenço 702, 4430-533 Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. The parking is operated by TruckStop24 ("we", "us", "the operator"). By sending us a booking request you agree to these terms.

1. Bookings are requests

When you fill in our online form or contact us by phone or WhatsApp, you are sending us a booking request, not a confirmed reservation. A booking is only confirmed once we reply to confirm that we have space available for your vehicle and dates. If we cannot accommodate your request, we will let you know.

2. Payment - pay on arrival

We do not ask for any prepayment or deposit to make a booking request. You pay on arrival (or as otherwise agreed with us for longer or recurring stays). We accept payment at the on-site office.

3. Prices

Our standard rates are:

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Rates may change over time; the price confirmed for your stay is the one that applies. For anything not listed, contact us for a quote.

4. Cancellation and no-show

Because no prepayment is required, cancelling is simple. If your plans change, we simply ask that you let us know as soon as reasonably possible so we can free up your space for another driver. There is no cancellation fee for a booking request that has not yet started. We appreciate a quick message if you will not be arriving (a no-show), so we can manage capacity fairly for everyone.

5. Vehicle owner responsibility and house rules

You remain responsible for your vehicle, its contents and any trailer or load at all times. While on the premises you agree to:

• Follow the instructions of our staff and all on-site signage.
• Park only in marked areas and spaces suitable for your vehicle type.
• Keep access lanes and gates clear.
• Lock your vehicle and take reasonable care of your belongings.
• Drive carefully and respect the speed and safety rules on site.
• Not carry out activities that create a hazard or nuisance for other users.

We may refuse entry to, or ask to leave, any vehicle or person that does not follow these rules or that poses a risk to safety or security.

6. Liability

We provide a monitored, fenced parking area with CCTV, but the parking is offered as a space to leave your vehicle - it is not a guarded custody or insurance service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for theft of, or damage to, vehicles, trailers, loads or belongings, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. You are responsible for maintaining your own appropriate insurance.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Portugal, and any dispute will be subject to the competent Portuguese courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have.
